["Al'Thor Productions Presents" appears on screen, as the scene opens with a (clearly bored) young man leaving his job at the movie theater]
["A Film by Eric Binfet" appears on screen, then cut to a shot of the man walking down the street]
["Bryan Whitbeck" appears on screen, then cut to the man entering his apartment, where he sees a wedding invitation sitting on his table]
[the camera zooms in on the accompanying note ("We would be honoured by your presence at our wedding. The favor of your reply is requested by May 1, 2009."), as he takes out a pen and writes "1" next to "Number attending"]
["Melissa Hoppe in" appears on screen, then cut to the man eating beans right out of the can for dinner (which his cat ruins by sticking its face into the can)]
["Dewey Dating System" appears on screen, then cut to the man entering the public library (by himself) and trudging up the steps]
[cut to a young female librarian standing at the desk, as she smiles and waves at the man ... who manages a brief smile and wave in reply before quickly making his way off camera]
[she sighs and continues sorting through the books on the desk, then cut to the man pulling a copy of "The New Annotated Sherlock Holmes" (edited by Leslie Klinger) off the shelf ... but when he opens it, he finds a small purple card with "616.1527.P" written on it]
[cut to another section of the stacks, as the man grabs the book "Hope and Destiny" by Alan Sacerdote off the shelf and finds another card inside with "133.5T" written on it]
[cut to another section of the stacks, as the man grabs the book "Astrology" by Julia Parker off the shelf and finds another card inside with "306.7 S" written on it]
[cut to another section of the stacks, as the man (with a smile on his face) grabs the book "Desire" by Lisa Solod Warren off the shelf and finds another card inside with "301.42031" written on it]
[cut to another section of the stacks, as the man literally skips down the aisle (growing ever more excited with the thrill of the chase) before grabbing the book "Married" by Anne Richardson Roiphe off the shelf and finding another card inside with "813.08509 R661" written on it]
[cut to another section of the stacks, as the man grabs the book "Romance Today" by John Charles off the shelf and finds another card inside with "152.41M" written on it]
[cut to another section of the stacks, as the man grabs the book "Love 101" by Peter McWilliams off the shelf ... but (since he's carrying all of the other books in his arms as well) he has to bring the precarious pile to a nearby desk]
[cut to the man putting the pile of books down, then opening the last book and finding a library card inside (made out to "Susan Johnson") ... he looks up, as the female librarian is standing by the nearby shelf]
[she smiles and waves, then cut to the two of them holding hands as they walk out of the library]
